Accessibility statement

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Volcara LLC

Our commitment

Volcara LLC is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to learn about what we're building, regardless of how they navigate the web.

What we're aiming for

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA conformance on our website. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are the recognized standard for accessible web content globally.

Practices we apply

Our development approach considers the following accessibility practices:

  • Alternative text on meaningful images, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip redundant information
  • Semantic HTML structure intended to support keyboard navigation and screen-reader wayfinding
  • ARIA labels on icon buttons and form inputs where relevant
  • Respect for users who prefer reduced motion: the prefers-reduced-motion media query is honored where applicable, including our animated brand elements
  • Form labels associated with their inputs
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds

We continue to learn and improve. We do not represent that the site meets every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion at all times. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finished destination.

Known limitations

We are honest about where the site has gaps. The following are areas we are aware of and working on:

Skip-to-content link

A skip link for keyboard-only users to bypass navigation is not yet implemented.

Animated brand content

Some decorative animations may not yet be fully optimized for all assistive technologies.

Third-party content

Embedded media and external widgets may not always meet the same accessibility practices as our own content.

We do not commit to a specific timeline for addressing these items.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please tell us. We want to know about it.

Please include

  • The page where you encountered the issue
  • A description of the problem
  • What assistive technology you were using, if any (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, screen magnifier, voice control)
  • Your browser and operating system

We will acknowledge your report and treat it seriously, even when we cannot promise a specific timeline. If you need any content from this site in an alternative format, contact us at the address above.
